The architectural project for this youth hotel focuses on integrating design with its unique urban and natural context in northeast Vienna, near the Alte Donau (Old Danube). The design emphasizes a harmonious relationship with the surrounding environment, with key elements tailored to the site's characteristics. Positioned directly across from the Danube River, the structure features architectural "arms" that extend toward the water in a stepped sequence, following the natural contours of the land. Guest room terraces are staggered at various heights to optimize natural light and offer uninterrupted views of the river.

The facade is characterized by rhythmic wooden shutters, providing privacy while maintaining a connection to the outdoors. These shutters also regulate light, reinforcing the balance between indoor comfort and outdoor openness. Public spaces, including sports courts, encourage social interaction and outdoor activities, enhancing the communal experience for guests. Through its tiered volumetric form, use of natural materials, and thoughtful design, the project achieves a seamless integration with the natural environment, offering a blend of privacy, openness, and a strong visual connection to the Danube.
